Antonio Conte successfully linked the future with London's "Chelsea" aspiring 27-year-old defender Cesar Azpilicueta in his tactics.
The Spaniard, who arrived at "Chelsea" in 2012, played all his seasons in the "Blues" as a left-back, but when Antonio Conte arrived at the club, he formed a center-back trio with David Luiz and Gary Cahill.
C. Azpilicueta signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with "Chelsea," which will expire in the summer of 2020.
"I am very happy to have signed a new contract. From the moment I arrived, my goal was to progress as a player and fight for titles with this team. This contract allows me to continue my friendship with this club. I am very happy about it," - said the defender after signing the contract.
This season, C. Azpilicueta has already played 18 matches and scored one goal. The defender triumphed in the Premier League with "Chelsea" in the 2014-15 season.
