"Milan" sniper Carlos Bacca promised to stay at his current club until they return to the elite of Europe.
Throughout the transfer window, the Colombian forward was linked with a possible move to several top teams, but so far no serious offers have been reported.
One of the most intense pursuers of the player's signature was London's "West Ham". However, Bacca rejected the chance to join the "Hammers" as they do not compete in the UEFA Champions League.
"There has been a lot of talk about clubs showing interest in me and making offers," Bacca told Milan TV.
"The truth is that I have not made any decision. I am happy with this group, working hard, and preparing for the upcoming matches as best as I can."
"I am very confident about the upcoming season, as the coach likes to play with the ball and with a purpose. I like that - it allows me to get two or three chances per game."
"Europe? One of the reasons I came here is because I thought this team could play in the Champions League."
"However, when I think with a clear mind, I left Sevilla because I want to bring Milan back to the top and I will not leave until I achieve that."
"I am an ambitious player. I did not succeed in reaching the Champions League in the first season, but I hope to experience it soon. I am happy to stay in Milan and enjoy playing in such a team."
Last season, Bacca scored 18 goals and provided two assists in 38 Serie A matches.
