The head coach of the Welsh national team Chris Coleman can't believe Gareth Bale's failure and thinks that after the latest injury, the footballer is simply crushed.
The Madrid "Real" club is facing serious problems with their most expensive club purchase - the 28-year-old footballer started training with the team just a week ago after missing more than a month due to injury, but the news that his calf muscle tendons have ruptured and he will have to miss another month of matches was a shock.
Coleman can't explain why Bale can't seem to escape the injury curse, but the whole team is ready to help him mentally.
"I don't have accurate information about what happened to Gareth," said Coleman. "But it's clear that he is now crushed."
"We haven't talked to Real about his injury, but in a few days we will talk to Gareth himself. It's a real failure, bad news for both us and him.
Sometimes it happens that the harder you work to get back on the field, the worse it is for your health. I know he will escape this situation and return to the field. Right now, he needs to fully recover and regain his physical fitness. He needs time, not a rushed return," added the Wales national team strategist.
This season, Bale has only played nine matches for Real due to constant injuries, but scored three goals and made four assists.
