Former French national team member Christophe Dugarry is skeptical about Mario Balotelli's chances of finding his game at the "Nice" club.
The sniper from Italy finally ended his troubles in the ranks of "Liverpool" and arrived in France on the last day of the player transfer window.
Dugarry compared the 26-year-old footballer to Hatem Ben Arfa, who shone for Nice last year, and also arrived here after poor seasons in England.
"Balotelli? Next to him, Ben Arfa looks like a boy from the church choir," Dugarry told RMC.
"Rivere is a really interesting and smart president, but I'm not sure if this is a good decision."
"It was necessary to buy a striker. Balotelli can be a double force or be worth nothing."
During his career in Merseyside in the Premier League, the Italian scored only once in 16 matches. Dugarry believes it is already too late for him to revive his career.
