The speculations about Christian Eriksen's future have ended - the 24-year-old midfielder has signed a new four-year contract with London's Tottenham.
It has been officially confirmed that the star of the Danish national team has reached an agreement with Spurs regarding a contract lasting until 2020.
It took a long time to sign a new contract for C. Eriksen with Tottenham due to salary negotiations. Up until now, the midfielder was earning 32 thousand euros per week at the North London club. This amount is quite low, so his agent demanded it to be increased to 150 thousand.
It seems that C. Eriksen and the Tottenham team have managed to solve the salary issue and a new contract was signed today.
The attacking midfielder strengthened Tottenham in 2013. During this period, C. Eriksen played 134 matches, scored 30 goals, and provided 33 assists.
Thrilled to commit my future to this amazing club! #coys #ce23 pic.twitter.com/vJcyI5ngNo
