C. Eriksen revealed that he felt like a scapegoat within "Tottenham" squad

Christian Eriksen finally left London's "Tottenham" in January and moved to Italy, where he already debuted with Milan's "Inter".

The 27-year-old Dane had long hidden his desire to leave the North London club, and speaking with the BBC, he stated that it was because of this reason that he was turned into a scapegoat.

"I received a lot of blame for supposedly being a bad guy in the team. You simply become a scapegoat when your contract is nearing its end.

I openly talked about my desire to leave and didn't hide it like other footballers do. I wanted everyone to know about my situation in the club.

I received a lot of blame and criticism. People said that I was ruining the atmosphere in the dressing room," said C. Eriksen.

The Dane also admitted that the last few months in England were very difficult psychologically, so he is happy that he was finally able to change his environment.

"After my open statement in the summer, everyone was waiting for me to leave, and after every match, the talk was not about the game, but about whether I would leave Tottenham.

Even the fans on the streets of the city wanted me to leave their team as soon as possible. It was quite strange. I am very happy that I can test myself in a new place," added the new Inter player.
