C. Eriksen saved "Spurs" at the end of the match, "Watford" narrowly missed playing with "Cardiff"

On Saturday evening, there were another six matches of the 17th round of the English Premier League.

After a successful week in the UEFA Champions League, Tottenham hosted Burnley at Wembley Stadium. Mauricio Pochettino's team secured a victory with a 1-0 result at the very end of the match.

Burnley tested the hosts' nerves throughout the game, but in the first minute of added time, Christian Eriksen lifted the spectators from their seats - his shot after Harry Kane's pass was accurate and Spurs celebrated the victory.

Tottenham now has 39 points and remains in third place. They are currently five points behind the leaders.

In other matches at home, the Watford team almost played a draw, but conceded two goals towards the end of the match and wasted their three-goal lead to a 3-2 result.

Other teams that celebrated victories in the matches were Wolves, Newcastle, West Ham, and Crystal Palace.
