After the ninth defeat of London's Chelsea in the Premier League, team guard Cesc Fabregas said it was time for the "aristocrats" to pull themselves together.
Currently, last season's champions are only in sixteenth place and are just separated from the relegation zone by points.
The team's coach Jose Mourinho, disappointed by his players' performance, even mentioned that they had betrayed him.
"We all must take responsibility. If you are a good player and earn the salary of a good player, you must perform and behave accordingly," Fabregas spoke at the New Horizons charity event.
Chelsea will face Sunderland at home this Saturday."
