C. Fabregas: "Chelsea" plays like "Barca"

Cesc Fabregas believes that the team he represents, London's Chelsea under the management of coach Jose Mourinho, demonstrates a similar playing style to Barcelona.

The capital's team is performing excellently this season, leading the English Premier League by three points ahead of defending champions Manchester City.

"Mourinho adapts to the players he has," said the Spaniard.

"But what makes him a great coach is that he can adapt to any situation, and the teams he leads can play in many different ways. It's a very intelligent way of leadership."

"I would say that Barcelona shows a style that he has already experienced and understands perfectly," he continued.

"We play very similarly - we want to be a team that takes the initiative, controls the ball, and looks for ways to score. Maybe we have a different system, but the philosophy is the same."
