London "Chelsea" team footballer Cesc Fabregas was disappointed with how Diego Costa was treated. The "Chelsea" team decided to sell the striker to Madrid's "Atletico" team.
Interestingly, the head coach of the "Blues" Antonio Conte, in a short message after the season, informed the striker that his services were no longer needed.
Meanwhile, his former teammate C. Fabregas did not like this situation at all.
"It's very unfortunate for him. Diego knew that after signing with "Atletico" he wouldn't be able to play for several months. But in the "Chelsea" team, it was a very difficult situation for him. And very unfair. Of course, Diego will always be my friend and will never be my opponent," said C. Fabregas.
The footballer also did not spare compliments for his former teammate.
"In recent years, when it comes to true number nines, there was nothing better than him. I understood him perfectly. He knew my style, read my passes, and most importantly, he received them all perfectly.
He is also important in the dressing room. He is not just the Diego we see on the field. He is the man who can inspire everyone," he added.
