C. Fabregas rejoices in returning to the starting line-up and mentions future goals

29-year-old Cesc Fabregas earned the trust of Antonio Conte and returned to the starting lineup in the English Premier League match against Swansea over the weekend.

This season has not been easy for the Spanish international in the "Blues" team - at the beginning of the season, A. Conte barely gave him a chance to show himself, but C. Fabregas worked hard to earn his minutes on the field, and now step by step he is returning to the starting position.

"At first, when I didn't get playing time, I told everyone not to talk to me, because I was very upset," - confessed C. Fabregas.

"But with time, changes come - I am older, more experienced. All of this helps me understand that the most important thing in football is the team, not you.

Don't get me wrong, I really want to play, but sometimes you have to fight hard for your place on the field," - added the former Barcelona and Arsenal player.

In the end, C. Fabregas also talked about his future at Chelsea: "I want to stay here until the club says they no longer want me. Until that happens, I want to continue playing for this team, and when my mind says I can't continue anymore, I will leave Europe."

C. Fabregas played 17 matches in the Premier League this season, but appeared in the starting lineup only six times. The Spaniard scored five goals and provided eight assists in all competitions.
