"Brighton & Hove Albion" coach had nothing but praise for "Manchester United" coach Jose Mourinho after the FA Cup match.
The Premier League newcomers lost to the "Red Devils" with a score of 2-0, after bidding farewell to the UEFA Champions League in the middle of the week.
The "Brighton" manager was impressed by Mourinho's ability to prepare his players for a good performance even under such immense pressure.
"Jose has managed big clubs, and in those clubs, there is pressure," Hughton told the official "Brighton" website. "Nevertheless, he handles that pressure wonderfully, and when you manage such clubs, you have to be accustomed to it."
"You will never hear anything unkind said about Jose - he is an exceptional coach."
"As long as I've been around him, he has always been very good company. When we played here, he always spoke very highly of us."
After the victory against Hughton's side, "Man United" will face London's "Tottenham" in the FA Cup semi-final.
