Last year, Colinas Odutayo, who arrived from Klaipėda's "Neptūnas" to the capital's "Riteriai", is moving to the "Lahti" club in Finland. After reaching a mutual agreement, the player's contract was transferred to FC "Lahti" club in Finland.
“This is another victory and appreciation of the work and efforts put in by Colinas himself. Perhaps he did not have a great season, but his potential is certainly huge. Of course, it is pleasing that "Riteriai" remains a club that regularly provides players with opportunities to pursue career opportunities in stronger leagues, ”said the club's sports director Vytautas Masaitis.
“The past year was a breakthrough for all of us, but looking back on it, I can say that I have matured much more and gained more experience during those years, so I am grateful that I maintained good playing form,” said Colinas Odutayo.
During the past A Lyga season, C. Odutayo played 31 matches, scoring three goals and making three assists.
“We hope that this is not the last transfer this season, and more of our club's players will follow Colinas' example,” - sports director Vytautas Masaitis.
The capital team will start the cycle of friendly matches this Saturday with a match against the "Panevėžio B" footballers at the BFA arena. Seven friendly matches are planned before the start of the season.
