“Chelsea” earned a crucial victory in the English Premier League.
Led by Cole Palmer, the “Blues” defeated Newcastle United 3-2.
In the 6th minute, C. Palmer's shot from outside the penalty area deflected off Nicolas Jackson and a somewhat bizarre goal was credited to him.
In the second half, Newcastle took the initiative and Alexander Isak equalized with a great shot.
The beautiful goals continued. In the 57th minute, C. Palmer tried his luck from distance again and this time it was successful - Chelsea once again took the lead.
In the 71st minute, Mykhailo Mudryk entered the field and after outsmarting Newcastle's defense in just 5 minutes, the Ukrainian doubled the “aristocrats” lead.
Just before added time, Jacob Murphy brought back the intrigue with a fantastic shot. However, Pochettino's players held on to secure the hard-fought 3 points. They remain in 11th place.
