Italy's national team head coach Cesare Prandelli denied reports that he is preparing to take veteran Francesco Totti to the World Cup in Brazil.
The 37-year-old "Roma" legend has not represented the "Azzurri" since the 2006 World Cup, where they won the gold medal.
"He is a great talent, but time is undefeated. Let's not talk about him, as last time after such talks the striker suffered an injury," the specialist said.
"Besides, he has already made his mark on the national team," Prandelli added.
In the Italian national team, F. Totti has played 58 matches and scored 9 goals.
