Dortmund's "Borussia" super talent Christian Pulisic put on a great performance in a friendly tournament in the international Champions Trophy in the United States.
The American scored two goals against the "Liverpool" team and helped the "Borussia" side defeat the English team 3-1, who played in the Champions League final last season.
C. Pulisic scored both goals in the second half, earning a penalty which he converted himself and then adding another goal by scoring in a quick attack.
A double, it seems, should bring the best player award in such a match, but not in this case. The best player award in this tournament was established by the alcoholic drinks company "Heineken". It is for this reason that C. Pulisic was left empty-handed.
The 19-year-old American could not accept this prize, as alcoholic beverages in the USA are only allowed for individuals over the age of 21. Therefore, in this case, the best player of the match was recognized as the 27-year-old "Liverpool" defender Virgil van Dijk, who scored the only "Reds" goal.
