C. Pulisic said goodbye to BVB fans

Christian Pulisic played his last home match with Borussia on Saturday, and his goal helped the team defeat the Dusseldorf squad and keep their chances in the championship title race alive.

After the match, the American who will be moving to Chelsea in the summer, stated that scoring a goal in the final home game is the best feeling.

"Of course, this day is extremely emotional for me, as it is the last match in this stadium. I have played many games here and it feels like I just arrived here as a 15-year-old kid yesterday.

Being here and scoring a goal in the last game in front of all these fans is the best feeling.

I will never forget these fans and this stadium. Without them, I could not do what I do. I am grateful for all the opportunities given to me," Pulisic said after the match.

The American also assured that the team is not giving up in the fight for the German championship title.

"We never give up. We just need to finish our business next week and win the matches. That's all we can do, and then we will have to look at other results," added the forward.

In total, C. Pulisic played 126 matches with BVB, scored 19 goals, and made 25 assists.
