C. Pulisic took a shot at goal, but the opponent's goalkeeper caught the ball.
The US team's attacking tenacity finally paid off - in the 37th minute, after a great combination, C. Pulisic scored the first and, as it later turned out, the only goal of the match.
After a successful shot, C. Pulisic returned to the game after a few minutes.
The US team managed to strike again towards goal, but T. Weah's goal was disallowed for offside.
At the beginning of the second half, it became clear that C. Pulisic would not be able to continue, so the US made a substitution.
Awakened Iran team tried to equalize, but S. Ghoddosas wasted two opportunities to score.
At the end of the match, the US focused on defense and almost got burned - leaving M. Pouraliganji with a good chance.
