"Leicester City" manager Claudio Ranieri believes that his players would have beaten London's "Arsenal" if defender Danny Simpson hadn't been sent off.
The "Foxes" took the lead at the end of the first half when Jamie Vardy converted a penalty he had earned.
However, after Simpson received his second yellow card, substitute Theo Walcott scored for Arsenal, and in the final minute of the match Danny Welbeck capitalized on a great chance created by Mesut Ozil.
"It was a fantastic match, everything happened very quickly," Ranieri said after the game. "I think with 11 against 11 we would have won. Simpson made fouls in both incidents, but they didn't deserve yellow cards. Why was he sent off?"
"Arsenal" is a fantastic team, but we controlled the game. They were cleverer than us in scoring the winning goal."
"We played to win and we were doing well. We lost, so credit to our opponents. We are still at the top of the table. Now we will focus on the match against "Norwich"."
