The Italian Football Federation is still busy searching for a suitable strategist for the Italian national team.
Among the candidates to take on the role of the Italian national team coach are mentioned Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti, Roberto Mancini, and Claudio Ranieri. It is the latter who does not hide his strong desire to become part of the Italian national team.
The former Leicester City strategist, who joined Nantes this season, claims that every Italian's dream is to occupy such a position.
"Any Italian coach would like to train the national team. I have a contract with Nantes for two years and have not received any messages, so I cannot say anything.
But if I were to receive an offer to coach the Italian national team, I would immediately go to the president of Nantes and ask to be released," C. Ranieri openly stated.
