Cristiano Ronaldo still does not plan to hang up his boots, but already knows how he will live when he finishes his football career. The most productive player in the history of Madrid's "Real" told the newspaper "El Mundo" that when he is no longer playing football, he will live like a king.
The 30-year-old striker revealed that football does not always control his thoughts.
"I live a high-level life, but I think I will enjoy it more when I finish my career, when I can do what I want," said C. Ronaldo. "It was a boxing match in Las Vegas and I would like to see it with my family and friends. But I don't have time for that. That's why I don't cry, because I have to sacrifice, but after finishing my career I want to live like a king."
According to "Forbes" magazine, C. Ronaldo is the third highest-earning athlete in the world. He earns about 80 million US dollars per year. After retiring, C. Ronaldo plans to work with his own brand, which has already become a trademark.
As for coaching, he is not thinking about it yet.
"If you asked me now if I will become a coach, I would say: "No". I wouldn't be a sports director or a club president either," he said. "Since I was 27, I have had my own clothing line and I want my name to keep growing, because I will stop playing football in five, six, seven or ten years."
