C. Ronaldo – club manager? Another team suggested for Portugal © Reuters

Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo is inevitably approaching the end of his career.

It is estimated that the 40-year-old veteran may hang up his boots after the 2026 World Cup.

Football experts are already considering what the famous Portuguese player could do in the later stages of his life.

A few days ago, the Portuguese media reported that the star intends to purchase the Lisbon "Sporting" team, however, it later turned out that this was just an April Fool's joke.

Similar reports have now started to appear in the English press.

As former Premier League footballer Andy Townsend asserts, C. Ronaldo must be interested in the opportunity to acquire the "Wrexham" club and thus work alongside Hollywood celebrities Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Founded in 1864, the team is the oldest club in Wales and the third oldest in the world by this metric.

Currently, "Wrexham" is in second place in the League 1 standings.
