"Real" Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo agreed to talk about his future and insisted he wants to win even more trophies.
After being accused of tax evasion, the Portuguese stated he would be leaving Spain, sparking interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
However, the sudden frenzy quickly subsided and now it seems that the 32-year-old striker will continue to lead the "royal" club onwards.
"Winning the most important titles with my club last year was great, just like winning individual trophies", Ronaldo told Marca.
"It would be nice to do it again."
"You have to work hard, year after year, and I will continue to do so. Football is my life, it is my passion."
It is expected that Ronaldo will compete for his fifth "Ballon d'Or" award this year and will equal Lionel Messi in number of awards. His current contract with Real is valid until 2021.
