After the lost UEFA Champions League match with London's Tottenham, Madrid's Real star Cristiano Ronaldo denied rumors that he is seeking a more profitable contract.
Reports about the Portuguese's desire for a higher salary surfaced after the impressive deal signed by the world's most expensive footballer Neymar with Paris Saint-Germain, and Lionel Messi's decision to extend his cooperation with Barcelona.
However, the sniper does not take these rumors seriously.
"I am doing well with Madrid's Real. There are four years left until the end of my contract and I don't want to extend it. I'm fine with everything," Ronaldo told beIN Sports.
The 32-year-old Portuguese was recently recognized once again as the best player on the planet, but his efforts are still not enough for the struggling Real club. The capital's footballers are currently eight points behind Barcelona in the Spanish championship.
