Cristiano Ronaldo is convinced - he is the best player in the world who has played over the past two decades.
Ronaldo, who has won three Champions League trophies, has won three "Ballon D'Or" titles in his career - two less than his closest competitor Lionel Messi. Nevertheless, Ronaldo did not humble himself at all, claiming that he is not only the best among current players, but also the best in this sport over the past two decades.
"Where do I rate myself among the best players over the past twenty years? Looking at what I have achieved - I am the best of them. The best athletes always influence their sport, so I think I had a great influence on football. I can't say how big it is, but when you are faster, you can achieve more than others and always be strong and agile, then you can use your talent as it can be used," - stated the Portuguese.
The striker also admitted that he reached this level thanks to his hard work, and even now he is not inclined to stop.
"I worked hard to reach the highest level and I continue that work to stay there. I maintain the same attitude and dedication through every training session and every match. I watch myself to be able to write football history and in the future," he said.
