Attacker Cristiano Ronaldo may still return to play in Europe.
A few days ago, it was announced that the 37-year-old Portuguese had signed a two-year contract with the Rijado "Nassr" team.
However, the veteran may return to the Old Continent after just one year.
According to "Marca", there was a clause in C. Ronaldo's contract with "Nassr" stating that if the "Newcastle United" club qualifies for the next season's UEFA Champions League tournament, the veteran may exercise the right to be loaned to the English team.
This move would be determined by the fact that both clubs are owned by the same owners - the "Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund".
Currently, "Newcastle United" is in third place in the "Premier" League.
