Cristiano Ronaldo's life in Italy is going great so far - the team he represents, Turin's Juventus, is winning game after game, and the Portuguese himself is scoring goals.
Two goals from the 33-year-old striker in Saturday's match determined Juventus' victory with a score of 2:1 against Empoli. The football player scored once from the penalty spot and netted the winning goal with an impressive shot from 20 meters.
"It was a very tough match. We knew it wouldn't be easy, especially after having Champions League match in the middle of the week," said C. Ronaldo.
"After the break, we started to dominate the possession, create chances, and that's how we achieved a deserved victory in the end," added the striker.
When asked about his "strike", C. Ronaldo said he doesn't remember it well: "To be honest, I don't really remember how I scored exactly. I'll have to watch the goal again! Everything happened so quickly, but I felt quite comfortable before taking the shot."
In Serie A championship, C. Ronaldo has scored 7 goals and made 4 assists in 10 matches.
