C. Ronaldo led "Real" again crushed "Juventus", "Bayern" defeated "Sevilla" (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

On Tuesday, the quarterfinal stage of the UEFA Champions League began. The first two matches were played in which there was no shortage of excellent goals and fierce competition.

In the first match, an unexpected result was recorded - Turin's "Juventus" suffered a crushing defeat at home against Madrid's "Real". The Spanish club, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, who played quite difficult with the ball, took advantage of his opportunities and celebrated a 3-0 victory, bringing them closer to the semifinals.

The match started perfectly for the visitors from Spain - in the 3rd minute, "Real" took the lead. Isco, receiving the ball on the edge of the box, made a pass, Cristiano Ronaldo, who had escaped from the defenders, found space to take a shot and put the visitors in front.

However, "Juventus" did not lose hope after the goal and started to play actively in the opponent's half. Gonzalo Higuain had a perfect opportunity to score, but Keylor Navas reacted to his shot from just a few meters away.

"Juventus" held onto the ball unexpectedly and for a longer time, but "Real" used their weapon - fast counterattacks. One of them almost turned into a goal - in the 35th minute, Toni Kroos shook the opposition's goal structure from about 25 meters.

There were no more significant episodes in the remaining time of the first half, so "Real", scoring a quick goal and holding defensively, went into the break with a minimal advantage.

The second half unfolded similarly. Later, both teams seemed to lack energy and "the old lady", who was eager to equalize the score, was felt.

Finally, in the 64th minute, the "Juventus" stadium was shocked - taking advantage of G. Chiellini's mistake, the "Real" players caused chaos in the opposition's penalty area, Dani Carvajal lifted the ball and Cristiano Ronaldo spectacularly increased their lead to two goals.

This C. Ronaldo goal delighted the whole of Turin - the "Juventus" fans bid farewell to the Portuguese with applause, and he thanked them.

"Juventus" chances of a comeback became minimal after D Carvajal was fouled in the midfield area by Paulo Dybala - the Argentine's performance in this match ended as he saw a second yellow card and "Juve" had to play with ten men.

"Real" took advantage of their numerical superiority - in the 72nd minute, the final blow was struck. Marcelo burst into the box, C. Ronaldo made a clever pass, and the Brazilian was left alone against Gianluigi Buffon - the Italian touched the ball slightly, but that didn't stop the Brazilian from sending the third goal into the host's net.

Throughout the remaining time, "Real" had more excellent opportunities to score a fourth goal, but luck smiled on the "Juventus" team and the match ended with a score of 0-3.

In the other match, where "Sevilla" hosted Munich's "Bayern", a fierce battle took place, but there was only one winner - after conceding a goal, the Bavarians from Spain returned home with a victory of 2-1.

In Seville, the hosts started the encounter very actively. They were the first to take the lead - after receiving a great pass from Sergio Escudero, Pablo Sarabia successfully stopped the ball and put "Sevilla" in front.

However, the hosts did not enjoy the lead for long - after a shot from Franck Ribery in the 37th minute, Jesus Navas inadvertently directed the ball into his team's own goal.

In the second half, "Bayern" scored the winning goal - after a high header from F. Ribery, Thiago Alcantara found the net. The Bavarians celebrated victory and took a firm step towards the semifinals.
