Madrid's "Real" star Cristiano Ronaldo mentioned that he might move to North America if a good opportunity arises in the future.
Interestingly, last November the Portuguese spoke about leagues like MLS, Qatar, or the UAE championships, not seeing himself in them, but it seems that the striker changed his mind.
In recent years, clubs playing in North American competitions have been joined by players like Didier Drogba, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo, and David Villa, so MLS does not lack talented footballers.
"Maybe in the future I'll have a good opportunity to play there," Ronaldo told GQ. "You can never know, but it's interesting. Of course, I'm considering this possibility because football is getting better there. I think it's possible for me to develop there."
The former world's most powerful footballer was already linked with a move away from the Spanish capital last summer, when "Paris Saint-Germain" and "Manchester United" showed interest in him. However, it is likely that he will not leave "Real" in the near future, as the team will not be able to buy new players until 2017.
