The face of the Portuguese national team, Cristiano Ronaldo, can soon hang up his boots.

The 39-year-old forward will soon play in his last European Championship, and later may retire from club football.

Similar thoughts were expressed by the veteran at a press conference.

"I have only a few years left in football, so I have to enjoy it. I love football and every match is special to me.

When you imagine yourself at the European Championship with the Portuguese national team, you feel proud.

It's the same dream as when I was 20 years old," said Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the European Championship, the Portuguese national team will compete in Group F and will face Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Turkey.
