On Monday evening, a few short episodes of Cristiano Ronaldo's interview with the well-known English journalist Piers Morgan were released.
On Sunday evening, quotes were released in which C. Ronaldo accused Erik ten Hag of disrespect and "stabbing in the back" his former teammate Wayne Rooney.
However, the quotes released on Monday should have been more appealing to "Manchester United" fans, who have long been seeking and wanting changes in the club's management.
The 37-year-old Portuguese publicly accused the club's owners - the Glazer family.
"The Glazers don't care about this club. "Manchester United" is a marketing club to them. The sporting side doesn't really matter to them, in my opinion.
"When I returned to the club, I didn't talk to them yet. They give all the power to the club president and sports director. Fans are always right and must know the whole truth. Players want everything that is best for the club, including me.
"In my opinion, it will be difficult for "Manchester United" to reach the highest level in the next two or three years. I want the best for the club, that's why I came back. Inside the club, there are things that don't help the club reach the level of "Manchester City", "Liverpool", or even the level of "Arsenal" now.
C. Ronaldo also spoke about the criticism from football experts against him.
"They are not my friends (Neville and Rooney). It's easy for them to criticize me, I don't know if it's necessary to criticize others to become famous while working on television. I really don't understand that. It's easy to listen to former colleagues or teammates criticizing you when they only see one side. It's easy."
Portuguese spoke highly of Roy Keane and Rio Ferdinand.
"They are great guys. As I have mentioned before, Roy Keane was the best captain for me. Rio also helped me a lot, I was his neighbor. I don't want to praise them for speaking well about me, but they were also fantastic guys in the dressing room," said C. Ronaldo.
The entire interview will be aired on the "TalkTV" channel in England on Wednesday evening.
