On Sunday evening in Dubai, the 2019 Globe Soccer Awards ceremony was held, attended by this year's laureate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 34-year-old footballer, despite not winning any personal trophies in either FIFA or Ballon d'Or awards, was named the best player of the year by the Globe Soccer decision.
This was the fourth time in a row and the sixth in his career that C. Ronaldo received the award at the mentioned award ceremonies.
The best coach of the year at the Globe Soccer ceremony was announced as Jurgen Klopp, and the best team on the planet - "Liverpool".
The award for the best young player of the year went to Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.
