Striker Cristiano Ronaldo is struggling to adapt to his changed role.

The 37-year-old Portuguese did not make it into the starting eleven in the World Cup round of 16 match (6:1) against Switzerland and had to be content with a performance after coming on as a substitute in the second half of the match.

According to the coach's instructions, the next day the substitute and briefly played footballers gathered for training on the field, while the main team players could relax and just go to the gym.

As "Marca" writes, C. Ronaldo decided to act as he likes - he did not show up for training on the green field and instead worked out with the equipment.

In the World Cup, the veteran has scored 1 goal in 4 matches.
