On Saturday, four matches of the 23rd round of the Spanish "La Liga" took place.
Madrid's "Atletico" faced the league's underdogs "Malaga" on the road. The "Rojiblancos" had difficulties, but thanks to a very quick goal, they achieved victory.
The winning goal of these matches came at the very beginning of the game - not even a minute had passed when Antoine Griezmann was left alone in the penalty area and sent the ball into the net with a great shot.
"Atletico" recorded their third consecutive victory and temporarily reduced the gap from "Barcelona" to 6 points.
In other matches, "Villarreal" lost at home to the "Alaves" team, and "Eibar" dramatically defeated "Leganes".
In the last evening match, Madrid's "Real" delighted their fans with a goal festival against San Sebastian's "Real Sociedad". The "Whites" defeated their opponents with a score of 5-2, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick.
Formally, the match was already over after the first half - two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and one each from Lucas Vazquez and Toni Kroos gave the hosts a four-goal advantage.
In the second half, "Real" relaxed defensively and allowed the Basques to score two goals. However, the Portuguese did not leave the match without his hat-trick - C. Ronaldo scored his third goal in the 80th minute and for the first time in this "La Liga" season crossed this goal threshold.
"Real" climbed to the third position, which had long been held by "Valencia".
