fter a long wait, Cristiano Ronaldo finally made his debut in the "Serie A" championship with Turin's "Juventus" jersey. In the opening match of the season, the Italian champions managed to defeat Verona's "Chievo" team after a fierce battle.

"Juventus" and "Chievo" left the field with a score of 3:2 on the scoreboard. "Juventus" already had a victory in their hands, when in the last moments of the match, Mario Mandžukić scored a goal. However, before that, C. Ronaldo played with his hand, and the referee, using VAR, disallowed the goal.

Furthermore, at the same moment, C. Ronaldo injured the opposition's goalkeeper X when he cut his head. The goalkeeper immediately needed medical attention, could not continue playing, and was substituted.

Nevertheless, during added time, Federico Bernardeschi scored the winning goal, with "Chievo" having no response left.

"Juventus" started the match very well, as Sami Khedira scored a goal in the third minute. However, towards the end of the first half, "Chievo" equalized the score, with Mariusz Stepinski.

After the break, "Chievo" sent the Turin team into a downfall, when Emanuel Giaccherini converted a penalty from 11 meters.

However, "Juventus" team, stepping up in the final stages of the match, equalized the score in the 75th minute. Then Mattia Bani accidentally scored an own goal.

The final blow was delivered in added time by the aforementioned F. Bernardeschi.
