C. Ronaldo's generosity: great support for suffering Syrian children

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to demonstrate a generous heart. The Portugal and Real Madrid star, who earns millions, constantly supports those in need of help, and now has turned his attention to war-torn Syria. The 31-year-old footballer has decided to donate a very generous sum to help families and children in Aleppo.

The exact amount that C.Ronaldo is donating is not disclosed, but the news agency "Associated Press" described it as "generous."

The money will be used for food, clothing, and medical assistance. Everything will go to the people of Aleppo and all those affected in Syria.

The "Save The Children" foundation announced this on Friday.

"This is for the children of Syria. We know that you are suffering. I am a very famous footballer, but you are the real heroes. Do not lose hope. The world is with you. You are in our thoughts. I am with you," said C.Ronaldo in a post shared on social media.

Aleppo has been suffering from conflict between rebels and government forces for four years. Rebels withdrew on Thursday. This is the first time since 2012 that government forces have regained full control.

"C.Ronaldo's generous donation will allow us to help children all over Aleppo and Syria," said "Save the Children" director Nick Finney. "We are very grateful for this crucial help. C.Ronaldo is not only one of the most prominent sports figures in the world. He has also become a beacon of hope for millions of boys and girls around the world."
