The star of the Madrid team "Real" Cristiano Ronaldo realized that there are more important things than trophies on his shelf.

Portugal decided to auction off his Golden Ball award, which he won in 2013. This award was purchased at auction by an anonymous buyer for 600 thousand pounds sterling.

And all of this sum will go to the charity "Make A Wish Foundation".
