"Football record improver Cristiano Ronaldo has entered another exclusive list. Recently transferred from Turin's Juventus to Man Utd, experienced Portuguese forward cost 15 million euros for the Premier League team. It has been calculated that similar amounts have never been paid for a 36-year-old or older player. The record belonged to Cameroonian goalkeeper Jacques Celestine Songo'o, who in 2001, at the age of 37, transferred from Deportivo to Metz for 6.5 million euros."
