The Italian club has extended the contract with the safe Clarence Seedorf for another four years. The former player of the Dutch national team will play in Milan until the summer of 2011.
This season is the fifth for C. Seedorf in the red and black stripes - he arrived at Milan in 2002 from the other city team, Inter. This year, the Dutchman played in all 20 Serie A matches with his team (scored 3 goals) and in all 8 Champions League matches (1 goal).
Clarence Seedorf remains the only unique player who has won the Champions League with three different teams - with Ajax in 1995, with Real Madrid in 1998, and with his current club Milan in 2003.
In the next stage of this season's Champions League - the quarterfinals, Milan will face Glasgow Celtic after four weeks.
