According to former London "Chelsea" and Glasgow "Celtic" striker Chris Sutton, London "Arsenal" will not win "Premier" league titles until they are led by Arsene Wenger.
The "Gunners" are once again being criticized, as just before the start of the season with less than two weeks left, their only serious signing was midfielder Granit Xhaka. Meanwhile, their main competitors have already rebuilt their teams from scratch.
The Englishman believes that the capital club, in order to progress, must change their manager.
"This season I am once again concerned about "Arsenal". They show absolutely no ambition," Sutton said on the BBC Five Live show.
"I think the club's board and Wenger are disappointing the fans. I simply do not know in which direction "Arsenal" is moving - if I were a fan, I would be incredibly disappointed."
"They said they don't want to spend big, and the board is happy about it, isn't it true? Like every year, participate in the Champions League, bring in the money."
"They have a manager who will choose when to step down, they have no ambitions. They had a great opportunity to win the league last season, but they just don't spend money. If you are an "Arsenal" fan, you probably think, "Well, we will probably get into the top four again and win nothing."
"Then you look at "Manchester United" and "Manchester City", who show serious intentions, and it becomes even harder. Until Wenger steps down, "Arsenal" will not win the "Premier" league."
