C. Tevez rejects generous offer from Chinese - 25 million annual salary

According to Goal, "Boca Juniors" forward Carlos Tevez rejected a $25 million annual salary offer from the "Shanghai SIPG" team.

Tevez was one of the most famous players targeted by Chinese "Super League" clubs this winter. Chinese clubs managed to lure former "Chelsea" midfielder Ramires, Brazilian national team member Alex Teixeira, and former Italian player Gervinho to Asia this year.

The Chinese club tried to attract Tevez with an incredibly high salary, amounting to $480,000 per week. This was not the first attempt by "Shanghai SIPG" to acquire the Argentine. They offered $20 million per year in the summer, but the forward decided to return to Argentina.

Tevez, who currently plays for "Boca" in the Argentine league, is currently in twelfth place.
