The best Lithuanian footballer of 2006 according to the Italian media may leave the "Livorno" club in January and move to another team. It is believed that several Italian clubs, both from the higher "Serie A" and lower "Serie B" leagues, are interested in the Lithuanian striker.
After a great year and scoring 17 goals in the "Serie B" league with the "Avellino" club, T. Danilevičius returned to "Livorno" in the summer and started the new season successfully - the Lithuanian scored three goals in the Italian championships and scored the historic first goal of the club in the UEFA Cup, but later he rarely made it into the starting lineup.
The "Livorno" coach Daniele Arrigoni occasionally left the team's attacking leader Cristiano Lucarelli out of the starting lineup, choosing Ibrahim Bakayoko from Ivory Coast or the Brazilian Paulinho most of the time, so T. Danilevičius often had to settle for a substitute role and only made it onto the field four times since the start of the "Serie A" matches.
This has sparked speculation that the Lithuanian, wanting a more prominent role, may seek a new team in January, with various sources linking him to many clubs - it is believed that he is actively interested in "Parma", the reinforcement-seeking "Messina", as well as the "Cagliari" team, whose head coach is Franco Colomba, familiar to T. Danilevičius from his time at "Avellino", and lower "Serie B" league clubs "Napoli", "Triestina" and "Rimini."
