The head coach of Madrid's "Real", Carlo Ancelotti, stated that in January they will not be looking at the player market, even though Luka Modrić will be absent from the roster for three months.
There are rumors in the media that Sami Khedira will leave the Spanish capital team in winter, but with L. Modrić's injury, the German should stay and take the Croatian's place.
"Madrid's 'Real' will not receive newcomers in January," confirmed C. Ancelotti. "We have great players who can replace Luka Modrić."
"Last year we had a similar situation with Sami Khedira, but we easily solved it. In Modrić's position, Khedira, Illarramendi, Medranas, and eventually Isco can play," added the Italian.
After the international break, "Real" will have to face "Eibar" in the Spanish "Primera" league without L. Modrić on Saturday.
