Famous coaches list aspiring to lead the Italian national team - one less name.
"Corriere dello Sport" reports that Carlo Ancelotti, who has been in talks with his home country's football federation for several days, has decided to give up plans to coach the "Azzurri" team.
According to the press, next summer, the 58-year-old Italian may take over the reins of London's "Arsenal" team, as the club's symbol Arsene Wenger is leaving.
There are two names left on the list of candidates for the Italian national team - Roberto Mancini and Claudio Ranieri.
Both experienced specialists are currently not working in the top European clubs - the first one is leading St. Petersburg's "Zenit", the second one - "Nantes" club.
