Candidates who will compete for A. Wenger's position after the season

Today, the football community was shocked by unexpected news - longtime manager of London's "Arsenal" Arsene Wenger confirmed that he will leave the club after the season.

Arsenal will need to make an important decision - who to appoint as the new coach, as the team will no longer have the Frenchman who has been dedicated to the club for 22 years.

The media speculates that the quickest option will be a foreign specialist, but it is not ruled out that an English representative could take over the team.

The leading candidates are three foreign strategists - Massimiliano Allegri, Luis Enrique, and Carlo Ancelotti. The latter two specialists are currently unemployed, making their candidacy even more realistic.

Two Germans are also mentioned in the press - Joachim Low and Thomas Tuchel, but the latter has likely already reached an agreement with PSG.

Among the contenders are former club players - Frenchmen Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira, Englishman Tony Adams, and Mikel Arteta.

The candidacy of two experienced Premier League managers is also not ruled out. Brendan Rodgers, currently managing Glasgow's "Celtic", is one of the more realistic candidates, but "Arsenal" has also been linked with Eddie Howe.

As noted by fans of "EuroFootball.com", the name of Monaco's strategist Leonardo Jardim will undoubtedly appear among the candidates as well. He has been on the radar of the Gunners for several years.
