On Tuesday evening, five quarter-final matches were played in the England "Capital One Cup" tournament.
In the away match, London's "Chelsea" club defeated "Shrewsbury" footballers with a score of 2-1. The "Blues" took the lead at the beginning of the second half, but in the 77th minute, the score became equal. However, just 4 minutes later, an own goal by the hosts' player determined the end of the match.
In other matches, Brendan Rodgers' team, "Liverpool," miraculously saved themselves, winning 2-1 against "Swansea" at "Anfield" stadium.
The "Swans" took the lead in the 66th minute, but the "Reds" showed character. Mario Balotelli equalized the score in the 86th minute, and Dejan Lovren scored the winning goal in extra time.
Meanwhile, "West Brom" fell away against "Bournemouth" with a score of 2-1, and "Sheffield United" extended their victory against "Milton Keynes Dons" at the end of the match.
