On Thursday, the police confirmed that the search and rescue operation has been completed. Officials were unable to find the plane and the Argentine footballer E. Sala and pilot David Ibbotson who were on board.
It is worth noting that forward E. Sala was flying from Nantes to Cardiff, with which he had signed a contract. However, on Monday night, it was reported that the plane disappeared from the radars.
The fans of „Cardiff“ also pay tribute to the player: they gathered flowers and football merchandise outside the stadium. All of this was accompanied by a sign that reads: „We never saw you play, never saw you score goals. Emiliano, our beautiful bluebird, we will love you forever“.
