Carew is most likely returning to "Valencia" © EuroFootball.com

In the football corridors it is said that the forward, Norwegian John Carew, who has been loaned to the Italian vice-leader team this season, should return to "Valencia" after this season.

The 195 cm tall forward was loaned to the Italian team after a rather unsuccessful previous season for him. During it, the Norwegian scored 12 goals in 42 matches for the Spaniards and got into a conflict with a teammate from the Norwegian national team, which led to his temporary removal from the team.

Carew's agent, Per A. Flodas, stated that playing for "Valencia" would not pose any problems for his client: "For John, playing for Valencia is not a bad option. Especially since he will receive a higher salary than in his first season at this club. Of course, Valencia may not allow him to play, but I really think that if John returned to Spain, he would definitely get to play a lot."

In May, the player celebrating his 25th birthday, who scored 5 goals in over 30 matches this season, is reportedly being sought after by several Italian and Spanish clubs.

Meanwhile, "AS Roma" once again denied rumors that they have renewed negotiations with a Russian oil company for a possible club purchase.
