"Carpi" achieved their first victory against "Torino", Verona derby ended in a draw (VIDEO)

On Saturday evening, the first matches of the seventh round of "Serie A" were played. In the previous match at home, the league newcomer "Carpi" could celebrate their first victory by defeating one of the table leaders, "Torino". In the second half, Danielle Padelli scored an own goal and Matos scored with a precise header, giving the hosts a two-goal lead, but it didn't last long. In the 75th minute, Maxi Lopez converted a penalty from 11 meters and narrowed the gap for "Carpi", but Turin's team could not equalize. By earning the fifth point, the hosts climbed out of the relegation zone, at the same time giving all the chances below the top five, which guarantees a place in European tournaments, to their opponents. Shortly after, the Verona city derby took place between "Chievo" and "Hellas". This season the teams started differently - the first team had been in the top part of the table so far, while the second had been lingering in the relegation zone. Nevertheless, the fierce battle ended in a draw, and thanks to Eros Pisano's goal, "Hellas" even took the lead in the 14th minute. However, upon replay, it seems the player was offside. Nonetheless, with a precise shot just over 6 minutes before the end of the match, Lucas Castro equalized, and both Verona teams shared a point.
