The home fans did not enjoy seeing the experienced winger for the first time since February 2020 and booed him. This action caught the attention of "Real" defender Casemiro, who said: "When one player is booed, the whole team is booed. I don't agree with what happened. We must support him. I didn't like how Bale was booed because he is a historic player for Real. When you treat a player like that, you disrespect the team's history," explained Casemiro.
